General description of the base
Lime-stone base of a polythyron pier. It is of irregular shape and it is located at the NW end of the part of the polythyron on the NW-SE axis, adjasted to the NW facade of the palace (SW architectural addition to the Western Wing). The current appearance is the result of restoration.
