General description of the ashlar course

On the upper side of the preserved part of the SE wall of Room XVII, there is a cut poros-stone with a mortise at one of its sides. It has been assumed that this could be part of an ashlar course at this height of the wall, on which the lower horizontal part of a window frame could be adjasted. No others poros-stones are preserved. Nevertheless this appearance could be the result of the heavy restoration work that took place.
