General description of the vertical timber reinforcement system
In the middle of the SE side of the NW wall of Room LIX, the chase/ imprint of a vertical timber element has been restored. The excavator suggests the existence of a window serving the communication between Rooms LVIII and LIX. The restored vertical timber element was based on the stone base of the rubble wall. The current appearance is the result of restoration.
