General description of the space

Space LIX is a square room located at the NE part of the Eastern Wing of the palace. It functioned as the vestibule of Space LVIII providing access to the Lustral Basin (Room LVIII). It is accessible from Room LX and it had a double window opening at the SE side. The SW window was transformed into a niche in a later structural phase of the LM IB.
