General description of the base

Lime-stone base of irregular shape with no remains of the timber part of the pier. It is part of the grand polythron in Room XXXVII that has been identified as the "the King's Hall". It is located 1.00 m. from the SE pier at the end of the polythyron and 0.70 m. from the stone base to the NW. The current appearance is the result of restoration.
