General description of the base
Lime-stone base of irregular shape with no remains of the timber part of the pier. It is part of the grand polythron in Room XXXVII that has been identified as the "the King's Hall". It is located at intermediate position, 0.70 m. from the stone base to the SE and 0.60 m. from the stone at the NW. The current appearance is the result of restoration.
