General description of the base

Lime-stone base of irregular shape with no remains of the timber part of the pier. It is part of the grand polythron in Room XXXVII that has been identified as the "the King's Hall". It is located 0.74 m. from the stone at the SE and 0.80 m. from the missing pier at at the NW end of the polythyron. The current appearance is the result of restoration.
