General description of the pier and window partition

At the SE side of Room XXXVI, between the main hall and the lightwell, there is a poros-stone rectangular base for a timber pier, centrally located. At both sides of that base (to NE and SW) there are poros blocks consisting the lower courses of the wall. The upper course with the possible remains of the timber window frames are missing. On the upper surface of the poros-stone base, there are three mortises for the adjustement of the timber pier.
