General description of the pier
Pier at the NE free end of the middle wall in Room LIV. It consists of three poros blocks on a lime stone base. On the upper surface of the upper poros block, a mortise is preserved for the adjustement of the timber part of the pier. Its current appearance is the result of restoration.
