General description of the pier
A mud-brick pier at the free SE end of the wall between Rooms XXVIII and XXX, facing the Central Court. It probably functioned also as a door jamb of the openings at both sides of it, leading from the Central Coult to Rooms XXVIII and XXX respectively. Its current appearance is the result of restoration.
