General description of the door frame

To the SW of the free-standing pier between Rooms XXVIII, XXIV and XV, there is a door-opening. The timber door-frame is preserved/has been restored to the NW side/face of the opening with a vertical timber element at each jamb, based on a rectangular stone slab. Its current appearance is the result of restoration.
