General description of the imprint
Vertical timber element of the door-frame at the opening leading from Room/Corridor Xχ to Room XXVIII. It is located at the northern corner of the mud-brick jamb pier at the NE end of the SE rubble-stone wall Room Xχ, and more specifically at a distance of 0.245 m. from the vertical imprint to the SW (belonging to the door-frame of the opening from Room XXVI to Room/Corridor Χχ). The base of the vertical timber element has been captured in the general plan of the site (published in 1974). In situ part of plaster is preserved at that point. The structural unit was probably connected to the nearby timber door-frame of the opening leading from the area of Room XXVI to Room/Corridor Χχ. Its current appearance is the result of restoration.
