General description of the vertical timber reinforcement system
The SW wall of Room XXIV (Lustral Basin) is of rubble masonry with mud-brick covering on its SW side. Four chases of the timber vertical reinforcement system are preserved on both sides of the wall. Its current appearance is the result of restoration.
