General description of the pier
At the SE end of the NE wall of Room XXIV, there is a mud-brick pier-like vertical structural element preserving vertical timbers centrally located on its NE and SE sides. It is based on a stone slab. The wall is of mud-brick masonry with stone cladding on its SW side. Its appearance is the result of restoration.
