General description of the chase / cuvity
Vertical timber element extending to the entire preserved height of the NE mud-brick wall of the corridor to NE of Room XXIV. It is located on the SW side of the wall and it was probably connected at some height (not preserved) with the opposite located vertical timber that was part of the "pier" at the NE end of the SE wall of Room XXIII. Its appearance is the result of restoration.
