General description of the chase / cuvity
Vertical timber element on the SE side/face of the NW wall of Room XXIV, on the part of the wall of mud-brick masonry from the ground level of the West Wing up. The lower part of the wall is of rubble stone masonry. This vertical timber element is located 0.84 m. from the vertical chase of the timber reinforcement system to the SW and 0.34 m. from the vertical chase to the NE. Its appearance is the result of restoration.
