General description of the chase / cuvity
Vertical timber element, located at the northern corner of the SW wall of Room XXIII. It is based on the stone base of the structure and it is part of the timber frame of the wall, connected at some height (not preserved) with the others vertical timber elements of the structure. It is also part of the timber door-frame of the SW entrance of Room XXIII. Its appearance is the result of restoration.
