General description of the chase / cuvity
At the point where the NW wall of Room XXIII meets the mud-brick structure of the NW jamb of the SW entrance of the room, a recess (offset) of 0.14 m. width is formed for the adjustment of a vertical timber element of the door frame. The distance between this recess and the vertical imprint at the southern corner of the mud-brick jamb is 0.18 m.. Their current appearance is the result of restoration.
