General description of the chase / cuvity

Vertical timber element extending to the entire preserved height of the SW mud-brick wall of Room XVI. It is located at the SE end of the wall and it is based on the stone base of the structure. It is part of the timber frame of the wall and connected at some height (not preserved) with the others vertical timber elements on its SW side/face. Its appearance is the result of restoration.
