General description of the space
Room V, on the north part of the West Wing of the palace, is part of the palatial storeroom system, which can be compared with the "Corridor of the Bays" at Knossos. It is a rectangular room, located at the end of a corridor leading from Room IX to the storerooms of the palace. Room V provided access to Room I, which was also identified by the excavator as part of the same storeroom system.
