General description of the space

Room IV is located on the north part of the West Wing of the palace. It a rectangural large room, identified by the excavator as a storeroom belonging to the palatial storeroom system, which can be compared to the "Corridor of the Bays" at Knossos. Room IV is semi-subterranean, accessible from Room III. According to the excavator, on the NW wall of the room, which consists part of the western facade of the palace, there was a large window facilitating lighting and ventilation for the room interior.
