General description of the space

Room ΙI is located on the north part of the West Wing of the palace. It a rectangural room belonging to the palatial storeroom system, which can be compared to the "Corridor of the Bays" at Knossos. Room ΙI is accessible via a descending stairway with five steps starting from the long corridor that leads to the storerooms from Room IX. According to the excavator, on the NW wall of the room, which consists part of the western facade of the palace, there was a window facilitating lighting and ventilation for the room interior.
