General description of the space

Room XXVI, located in the southern part of the West Wing of the palace, was accessible via the corridor between Room XXVIII ('Ceremonial Hall') and Room XXIV ('Lustral Basin'). It is an L-planed room that was identified by the excavator as an antechamber leading to Rooms XXV and XXVII, also used as a workshop. There are three parallel rows of paved stoned at the western part of the room facilitating craft activities, according to the excavator.
