General description of the space
Room XII is located at the SW corner ('SW' is used conventionally) of the West Wing of the palace. It was accessible via the corridor running along the niches of Room XVI ('Archive of the Sanctuary'). Room XII was divided into four spaces (a-d) by low-height mudbrick partitions, that were used to store ritual vessels. Both the partitions and their floors were plastered. An istallation was uncovered at the SW corner of the room that was identified by the excavator as a possible lavatory.
