General description of the space

Room IX, centrally located in the West Wing, ensured circulation to all the other areas of the West Wing of the palace. It is a square room from which were accessible the storerooms of the West Wing to the North, through a relatively long corridor, as well as the sanctuary rooms and the system of the Ceremonial and the Banquet Halls to the South. At the center of the room, the plastered floor was covered with ceramic tiles in a square arrangement.
