General description of the space
This column, at the North - West edge of Staircase II B, along with another one at the North - East edge of this staircase, formed the entrance porch of Building A's South Façade in the initial phase of the building (Treuil & Schmid 2017, p. 82 - 83). Then, Building A was extended and Lightwell III 1a was created. In a later stage, Staircase II B was built.
