Description of the connection of the structural unit with other structural units

On the East wall of the staircase, holes indicate the insertion of the transversal beams bearing the staircase in the wall. Moreover, imprints and chases on the wall indicate the presence of horizontal reinforcement elements, which, even if not directly connected to the timber structure of the staircase, definitely contributed to the whole structural system of it.
