General description of the door frame
Monolithic conglomerate threshold on survey plans and verified on site, without any traces or mortises. Wace also describes: "The northern basement room, which had a door opening eastward over a conglomerate threshold into the open space on the west of the inner face of the Cyclopean wall, contained a row of large store jars (pithoi) still standing in situ (Fig. 108a) against the walls."
