General description of the structural unit
A horizontal system of timber reinforcement of masonry on the walls of room D.16. It is visible on all the internal sides of the walls, and there is also evidence of horizontal timber elements along the external, west wall, on a lever lower than the street, thus not visible from the outside. The system consists mainly of horizontal longitudinal timber elements of various shapes and dimentions, and dome diagonal, which are on top of the horizontal ones, but probably with no connection and mortar in between. It is not definite by the evidence available.
